About Belkasoft
Belkasoft is an independent software developer founded in 2002. We specialize in computer forensics and system software for the Windows platforms. With our slogan "Forensics made easier" we are trying to ease everyday's hard work of IT forensic investigators by creating the tools with out-of-the-box solutions which do not require deep specific knowledge to operate.
Along with the flagship Belkasoft Forensic IM Analyzer, we are also known for our Belkasoft Forensic Studio, Belkasoft Forensic Carver, Belkasoft Browser Analyzer, and some other software used in forensic investigations, law enforcement, intelligence, corporate security and parental control.

Yuri Gubanov is CEO and owner at Belkasoft, independent software vendor from Russia. In his past Mr. Gubanov completed a full path from being junior software developer to senior developer, then project manager and later IT top-manager. Graduated with honors from one of the best universities of Russia, St-Petersburg State University, he started Belkasoft 2 years later, being postgraduate student. Very soon the company became well-known in the forensic market for its Instant Messenger analysis product so Mr. Gubanov concentrated on forensic products instead of general-purpose ones.
Since 2003 Yuri is a senior lecturer at the St-Petersburg State University, delivering various courses like programming essentials, Microsoft.NET basics, usability and human-computer interaction.
Besides of developing computer forensics software and teaching, Yuri is fan of carve snowboarding, slalom roller skating and guitar playing.
