Supported ICQ versions
The product allows you to index ICQ versions 99a-2003b. The support for ICQ 5 is ongoing.
Features
Belkasoft ICQ plugin for GDS is not a plugin of a pure nature. It is standalone application instead which seamlessly integrates with Google Desktop Search. With this product you can:
  • Index history of multiple ICQ profiles installed on your computer.
  • Index deleted ICQ messages for 99a-2003a versions.
  • Schedule regular indexing so that you can tune it once and forget: your history index will be everytime up-to-date.
  • Proceed with multibyte codepages' messages such as Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
Important here is that you can index the history even in case you do not have a password.

Below you can see model search results by GDS. Incoming messages are marked with red and outgoing are marked with green. Search words are marked with yellow:

Differences between regular and Pro versions
Pro version allows you to schedule regular history indexing every login. This is very convenient feature allowing you to setup regular indexing once and forget about it. You cannot do it in regular version though you can index your files manually when you have a need.
