Belkasoft Skype Analyzer is brand new product which unlike the extractors
below allows you not to only extract messages but also search them
by different criteria. New powerful user interface is implemented,
multiple histories at a time can be worked with.
Note, this product now has public beta release status,
it may contain bugs and does not have documentation.
Final release including all bugfixes and documentation is planned
for June 2008. Customers registered beta version will upgrade to the
release for free.

Belkasoft History Extractors
allow you to extract your
Mirabilis ICQ, Miranda IM, Yahoo! Messenger, &RQ and Microsoft MSN Messenger
history into such formats as plain text,
HTML and XML. All major versions of ICQ are supported:

Miranda version 0.1.0.0 and later is supported. Microsoft MSN
Messenger version 7.0 and later is supported (just make sure you
have switched history saving on otherwise there is nothing to extract).
It is possible to select the time period of interest, generate history
for chosen contacts only, filter sent or received messages.

When importing ICQ if you do not have index (.IDX) file, you
can explore Forensic version capabilities. This version is your choice
also for extracting pre-99a ICQ history.

| Differences between regular
and Pro versions |
|
|
Pro version of Belkasoft history extractors has three advantages
comparing with the regular version:
- Ability to extract history of any size.
Regular version can handle
only 20000 messages maximum, messages exceeding this number are
ignored. Pro version works with large history without any
restrictions
- Ability to split history by contacts
(that is, generate separate
file for each contact's history). This is very useful when you
have huge message history
- Ability to run in batch mode that is extremely useful for
scheduling history extraction
- Ability to extract deleted ICQ messages for
99b-2003a versions (relates to
Belkasoft ICQ History Extractor Pro and
Belkasoft Universal IM History Extractor Pro)
- Convert your older ICQ version to ICQ5 (relates to
Belkasoft ICQ History Extractor Pro and
Belkasoft Universal IM History Extractor Pro)
- Enhanced support for multibyte codepages such as Chinese,
Japanese and Korean.

| Belkasoft ICQ Database Converter |
|
|
You decided to upgrade your ICQ to version ICQ5 and you do not want to loose your message history. But Mirabilis history converter that you have downloaded from ICQ site lacks reliability. It does not convert all history, just pieces, cuts messages that contain multiple lines and so on. The solution is Belkasoft ICQ Database Converter. It is now built in two our products: Belkasoft ICQ History Extractor Pro and Belkasoft Universal IM History Extractor Pro.
To convert your ICQ history to ICQ5 format you should fulfil three easy steps:
- Run ICQ Database Convertor from http://www.icq.com/download/db_convert/ against your history. Choose to not to convert history, just convert contacts. Ensure your contacts file appeared. To do this, go to ICQ5 installation folder (it looks like "C:\Program Files\ICQLite\") and search for .fb file (looks like 12345678.fb).
- Convert your history using Belkasoft ICQ History Extractor Pro or
Belkasoft Universal IM History Extractor Pro. Choose output directory to be
your profile history directory (something like
"C:\Documents and Settings\<your_login>\Application Data\ICQLite\HistoryDB\<your_uin>").
Should you prefer to choose other directory, go to the step 3.
- Copy contents of a directory you have chosen at step 2 to your ICQ history folder. ICQ history folder looks like this: "C:\Documents and Settings\John\Application Data\ICQLite\HistoryDB\12345678\" where you should substiture John with your login name and 12345678 with your ICQ profile number.
It is safe to copy generated files to existent directory; they will not overwrite your recent history files as their names based on date received and so differ from current history files.
