Belkasoft announces the release of Belkasoft R v.2.0, a digital forensics tool designed for obtaining data from remote devices. Major updates include:
- Image Upload Resumption: If an endpoint, server, or network shuts down, the agent resumes device image uploading from where it left off, avoiding the need to start over
- One-Time Agents: A one-time-use (disposable) agent is now available for one-off acquisitions, making it easier to reuse agents
- Covert Agent Acquisition: Agents can now run without a UI, allowing for more discreet operations
- Agent Update Support: One-click updates for both multi-use and disposable agents are now available if a newer version exists on the server (when updating to v.2.1 and later)
- Enhanced Agent-Server Interaction: The communication between agents and the server is now more stable
