Belkasoft has just released an update for its digital triage product Belkasoft T. The new version includes a number of improvements, requested by some of the first users of our new product. Particularly, since the TAR image does not preserve all available file system datetime stamps, the product now generates a report with all such stamps for you, including created/accessed/modified as well as NTFS-specific times. The report is created automatically in HTML format. Also, per another customer request, we now allow the examiner to review all of the exported files. This helps non-technical users to understand the exported results without utilizing a TAR viewer.
Apart from numerous customer requests, the product performance was fine-tuned to make searching even quicker than before.
To remind, Belkasoft T is a digital forensic and incident response tool developed specifically for the quick analysis of a live computer and making a partial image of important data.
