The upcoming update, Belkasoft X v.2.0, is a major release that introduces the capability to handle even large cases and hundreds of data sources with unprecedented speed.
Some of key updates in v.2.0 include:
- High-performance database engine: This update empowers Belkasoft X to effectively process large cases, providing users with enterprise-level performance for cases involving hundreds of devices
- Significant improvements in mobile forensics: eSim acquisition, enhancements in screen capturing, and a more robust APK downgrade method
- Enhanced drone support: This update adds support for four additional drone models and introduces flight route maps
- Extensive hashset improvements: These include repetitive analysis with different hash databases, a gallery view for results, and updates to NSRL RDSv3
- Automation enhancements
- NTFS Volume Shadow Copy deduplication
- Improvements in cloud forensics: This includes support for additional 2FA methods, as well as updates to Google Drive, Microsoft 365, and iCloud downloading
- Various improvements in third-party integrations: New Volatility modules, Clam AV integration, and an update to VirusTotal have been implemented
- Chat thread support: A highly anticipated feature that enables visualization of many-to-many conversations has been implemented
- Significant updates to Sigma and YARA rules: These updates have been made in response to customer inquiries, and in preparation for our upcoming training on these technologies
