In order to activate the portable version of Belkasoft Evidence Center, please select a thumb drive to run the software from.
Download the program "USBDeview":
This program is used to generate a USB-drive report file needed for
portable license activation.
Insert the USB-drive you are going to run Belkasoft Evidence Center
from into the computer.
Launch "USBDeview".
Find the target USB-drive; right-click on it and select “HTML Report-
Selected Items”.
"USBDeview" will generate a report file "report.html".
Send the report file to support@belkasoft.com
Belkasoft Support Team will activate your portable license and send
"License.xml" as well as Customer Portal credentials to your email. Please
note that it might take some time (usually up to 1 business day).
Login to the Customer Portal,
click the "Download product" link and download Belkasoft Evidence Center
(portable version).
Unpack the downloaded file to the USB drive.
In order to activate your portable license, you will need a license file.
The license file is usually sent to you by Belkasoft once you complete your
purchase. It could also be downloaded from the Customer Portal.
The file is called license.xml or, in packed form, license.xml.zip and contains various info about your license, such
as expiration date and available modules. Please do not try editing this
file since it will lead to a corrupted license for its integrity is secured
by a cryptographic signature.
You can either put the license file to the product folder (no matter if you
put an archive or unpacked file) or browse it in the License activation window.
Сlick on the “Browse license” button to browse the saved license file.
After that rerun the product.
Belkasoft Evidence Center is ready for use.
