BelkaCTF #7: Stranger Dfings

This time, besides the Chief, me, Steve and his boss, there were two more people in the briefing room. Despite the dim light of the room, both of them wore sunglasses—dark enough that you couldn’t see their eyes at all.

I leaned over to the Chief—Who are they?

—Shhh—he hissed—You’re not allowed to ask that.

I was stunned. Looked like the all-powerful Chief was actually a bit nervous about these dark-shades guys! Meanwhile, one of them spoke up. His voice was soft, almost silky. For some reason, he addressed me, though we’d never met.

—Tell me, Investigator, you did notice our… hmm… subject is rather unusual, didn’t you? We need to know exactly when he became unusual.
