📄 BelkaCTF #3: “Meet the Boss” write-up

📺 Official solution video

Finally, the Hor’s testimony has arrived... A pile of papers written in dry legislative language. One scrap of paper caught my attention.

A-ha! Looks like it will be easier to access their CRM now. We still lack the Boss’s CRM password though, will need that if our goal is to incriminate him reasonably.
Understood, don't show again

— Knock-knock, Chief, it’s me.

No answer.

I cautiously cracked the door open a bit and tried not to laugh out loud when I saw him. The Chief was sleeping on his couch curled up like a kitten.

I could understand. We have had a few sleepless nights behind us. But we have finally achieved the goal we aimed at three years ago. I found the crypto wallets needed to put the Boss behind bars for life. My colleagues were able to track the cashing of bitcoin and found the missing piece of the puzzle: the Boss' partner. This guy helped us understand what we were unable to understand previously. The mission was complete.

All thanks to the evidence discovered through digital forensics examinations.
