What's new in Belkasoft X v2.10

Belkasoft Evidence Center X (Belkasoft X) is Belkasoft's flagship product for digital forensics, cyber incident response, and eDiscovery.

Belkasoft X v2.10 delivers significant advancements in AI-powered investigation and cross-platform workflows, headlined by major expansions to BelkaGPT:

• BelkaGPT Q&A maintains the conversation context, allowing natural follow-up questions and query refinement without restating previous details
• BelkaGPT Hub now accelerates picture analysis and speech recognition
• Magnet Axiom case import (.mfdb) enables direct ingestion of processed cases, allowing you to examine cases with BelkaGPT 
• Similar face search lets you identify persons of interest across photos without external tools, grouping matches by similarity and enabling targeted searches
• Audio and video transcriptions now include timestamps for convenient playback verification in recordings
• Answer quality improves with smart artifact selection—analyzing 3 to 10 most relevant items per question using advanced relevance scoring for broader evidence coverage

Upgrading from previous versions of Belkasoft X to v2.10 is free for all customers with an active Software Maintenance and Support (SMS) contract. Customers with expired or expiring SMS contracts can review and renew them through the Customer Portal.

Context support in the Q&A chat

BelkaGPT Q&A now acts as a full-featured assistant that maintains the context of previous questions and answers in a topic. You can ask it to clarify or follow up on the findings, guide it towards specific artifact types or date ranges, and refine your queries based on the evolving conversation.

For example, if in the first question you ask, “Did the user plan to meet anyone in June 2025?”, you can then continue with “What about July 2025?”—BelkaGPT remembers what you asked before and applies this information for search and answers. For optimal context precision, we recommend using up to 10 questions per topic.

BelkaGPT Hub for media analysis

BelkaGPT Hub has been updated with support for media file processing. You can now use it to distribute and accelerate more tasks, including:

• Picture description and classification
• Facial recognition (preprocessing for similar face search)
• Transcription of audio and video files

Belkasoft X now ingests and parses Magnet Axiom case files (.mfdb) to let you use BelkaGPT with data from already processed cases. This version supports the following artifact types:

• Documents: Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, OpenOffice Writer, Impress, Calc; txt, .pdf, .rtf
• Emails: EML(X), Outlook, Outlook Tasks

Integrate your existing Axiom workflows with Belkasoft X's advanced capabilities—no need to reprocess evidence or start from scratch. Facial recognition

BelkaGPT now helps you find pictures with persons of interest in digital evidence without lengthy exports to external tools. Similar face search offers two use scenarios:

• Review pictures grouped by face: Pick an item under the Pictures profile and get a quick view of other pictures with matching individuals available in the case.

• Search for faces using uploaded pictures: Upload a photo and find the images containing the faces of the individuals in it.

BelkaGPT helps you to identify the same people across multiple photos, even when lighting, angles, or image quality vary. Grouping and search results show pictures with up to 50% similarity and are sorted by similarity rate, so you can quickly prioritize the most likely matches and work efficiently through your review.

Timestamps in audio and video transcriptions

BelkaGPT-generated audio and video transcriptions now include timestamps, making manual review effortless. Jump straight to the moments that matter and verify content with pinpoint accuracy—no more scrubbing through entire recordings.

Smart artifact count in answers

BelkaGPT now considers 3 to 10 most relevant artifacts per question—no longer limited to the top three. Advanced relevance scoring identifies the most pertinent evidence with more precision, while the response engine performs additional analysis to ground answers only in artifacts that best match the query.

This improvement provides broader evidence coverage and enhanced analytical accuracy.
